About the Author
Elias Weiss Friedman grew up near Philadelphia, in a big, loud family of brothers, sisters, cousins and dogs. Friedman created TheDogist.com in 2013; the wildly successful blog and Instagram feed now boasts more than 2.4 million followers. His first book, The Dogist, was a The New York Times bestseller in 2015. Friedman lives in New York City, but his work photographing dogs takes him around the world.
