I absolutely LOVE this book!!! It is perfect for anyone interested in sewing or quilting. The projects all have actual sized patterns and the instructions are easy to understand. Beautiful and Useful Book

This book is beautiful to look at and full of valuable information for the beginner or experienced. I enjoyed reading through and gathering new information and being reminded of techniques I have not used in a while. I am excited about trying many of the projects inside. The picture on the cover and the authors name sold me on this book and I was thrilled with what was inside.

This is a gorgeous and useful book, especially for beginners to sewing and quilting.
I am in my 60s and have sewn since a child, I still enjoyed reading this book. Highly recommend this book.

A Great Book!

I had pre-ordered this book so I could have it as soon as it hit the stores. It is very well written and beautifully photographed. The way it she has organized the chapters is perfect. I really appreciated Joanne highlighting the similarities and differences in sewing and quilting with easy to follow patterns that cover both areas. I can not wait to start my projects! Usually with craft/art books, I browse through and read only the sections that catch my eye, with this book, I have read the whole thing! I highly recommend purchasing this book, it is a must have for anyone who loves fabric, sewing and/or quilting!
