I just received my Home Sewn Home book. I have already made two of the projects in less than a day! I can hardly wait to try more. I do recommend retracing the patterns so that the ones in the book stay fresh.

I found the few that I wanted to make, but I've been too busy to try any of them yet.

This book has nothing new in it, it is a book full of recycled ideas.

As a seamstress I can tell you that you have to trace the patterns onto other paper, such as a wide stabilizer that can be found at Joann's, Hobby Lobby, Hancock's, or any fabric store. This will be the pattern you will use over and over again so that the patterns in the book remain intact.

I can't wait to sew these. I went to the patterns that are inc./w book. They are printed on both sides w/different patterns from the book. Realistically you'll have to choose which pattern you really want cause when you cut it, the other side is ruined. The paper is much to big to copy, so you will really only get 1/2 the patterns. Would have given 5 stars otherwise.
