Enjoyed flipping through. Will look forward to trying these ideas on fabric and paper. Those who didn't buy because the sneak peak wasn't enough. Too bad. Lovely book.

Although this is not a review of this particular book, I wanted to say that I agree with Jeanne B's review of the club. Please hear us club! We do order a lot of books and I also often get duplicates that I am not sure if I made a mistake or if the club made a mistake. I don't know how we can tell what is inside the package without opening it and return postage is expensive. There must be a way to let customers know what is inside the box without opening it or the envelop. The envelop is impossible to get open without tearing it completely so once a customer does that they have to pay the return shipping. If the box is not opened the customer can return the book by saying refused and returned to sender on the package and not have to pay the return postage.

I have been wanting to buy a book that gave me ideas and how tos for art quilts. I am not trained as an artist, and this type of quilting always has intriqued and inspired me.
I was very pleased with the beautiful photo tutorials thru out the enitre book, she explained many techniques, with clear instructions and also listed items needed for each project.
The author is an artist, and I was saddened at first when I saw the notation on the inside cover that the author had died before seeing her book in published form. after reading the entire book, I have learned alot of new things, and was so glad I bought a piece of the authors work.

I very much like Crafters Choice Club. All of the items are quite informative & interesting. I always order more than I need! My complaint is that when a package comes in the mail I do not know what it is until I open it. Once it is opened you can't return it without paying the return postage, etc. But I have no way of knowing what it is without opening either the box portion or the sealed envelope on the box! There have also been several times when I received duplicate orders! I am unsure if that was my fault or Crafters Choice.! Please advise me on what I should do!

I was interested in this book but with the Sneak Preview only covering 4 pages I decided I didn't have a good idea what the the book was about and decided not to buy it. I found another preview that was only cover and 4 pages - sorry not enough info to buy it either.
