Some of my fondest childhood memories are of going out for ice cream on a summer night, or driving with my family to Sherm’s Cookie Kitchen. This book was a big waste of my money and time. Just mostly stories of sucess nothing good to help me. I don't do Facebook so I am out as far as ordering diet menus.

This book is mostly a collection of success stories by individuals, and does not contain nearly enough program specifics or recipes. And some of the recipes and rather silly, as noted by a previous reviewer. The only true sound information contained in the book is mostly based on Atkins diet theory, which has been around for years.

This book is merely a series of weight loss success stories; not what I
wanted or was expecting. I was looking for a book that would help me learn how to exchange bad carbs for good carbs- This is not that kind of book.
For example, for dessert, find a very small dessert plate; spread a very thin layer of almond butter on the plate; cover with whipped cream and serve for dessert.
If I did that, my family would become more concerned about my sanity than my battle with diabetes.
