This book does have simple and easy recipes, but most of them are for products that don't work or are messy to make, let alone try to store for weeks or months. Plus, some receipes included artifical coloring, etc., which goes against the "natural" theme of the book.

Used the book for a program

Our topic this year in my study club is "Going Green". I used EcoBeauty for half of my program and the members thoroughly enjoyed hearing what ingredients can be used for beauty products. I made the bubble bath and gave for favors. Wonderful book and great ideas.

This book has recipes for every part of the body using things you can easily find in your kitchen or obtain at the grocery store. They have some nice projects that make great gift-givers as well. I've already made several of the recipes and I'm highly impressed with the results. If you had to buy one book, this one should be it!

I absolutely love this book!! Everything in it is easy to make and I can't wait to try them. I am having a "spa" day with my girlfriends in October and we are going to make some stuff from this book and I am so excited.

worth every penny

I have spent alot over the years on every type of beauty product possible, and even worked in the beauty industry. This book is worth every penny. On my first use I made the tea tree toner and saved $7. It will pay for its self quickly. The recipes are simple and the directions easy to follow. I would recommend this book to all of my friends.
