Half the book is good

The general instructions and recipes are decent. However, I bought this book along with the author's book on soap making. I was very disappointed to find that half the books are duplicates of each other. The sections on history, essential oils, etc are the exact same in both books.

Not worth the $

This book is not worth the money, very few good recipes and mainly just melting down soap to make more soap. How dumb is that. More importantly, recipes call for dye or colors or artifical ingredients, which is found in nearly all store bought soaps. I wanted a more old fashioned book with concrete recipes that contained quality easy to find ingredients.
