As a "seasoned" beader I was really disappointed in this book. I've come up with better designs on my own. I would not recommend this for any beaders that are past the basics.

It had a lot of good designs, but like Susan said "for a seasoned beader". I'm not a beginner but I'm a do by example type person and like to figure it out by looking at the pictures by step rather than reading what to do. I think the book needed more direction of how to do it as far as photos. The pictures showed the very beginning then halfway done and completed. Other than that it did have some really cool designs and ideas.

plenty of eye candy, and lots of twists on designs for a seasoned beader... for instance, attaching dangles between the beads (purple pebble dangles necklace) gives a richer look than usual. also found a nice design to use some large, impossible heavy red agate hoops i had! the beautiful photography and models adds up to a classy, inspirational book- a winner!
