I thought I wanted to try soap making but after getting this book I was very dissapointed. It is very long process and I don't think I will ever try it. For anybody that may have the time it might be worth it.

Great Resource For Beginners

I am a novice when it comes to soapmaking, but this book is great for the likes of me. It's easy to understand and provides a boatload of information for the beginner as well as the seasoned soapmaker. It's a great resource volume and will get tons of use in my library.

I never realized how much goes into making soap... and all the equipment/supplies needed. wow. i also am a little intimidated but this book is FULL of info and step-by-step instructions. i like a challenge so i'm gonna try it! GREAT BOOK!

The book was very informative and covered alot of details about soapmakings...so many I was daunted by the project. If you are serious, this is the book for you.

No matter what one person says, you can't please everyone. This is a super resource. I have used many soap books and this is right in line with those. It has good recipes and reliable info. I would definitely keep this one on the shelf for reference. No returns here!
