What are bonus points?
Our Bonus Points Program is our measure of loyalty that will allow you to enjoy savings of up to 80% off the publisher’s edition price. Every time you make a purchase of a product $9.99 or more through the Club you earn Bonus Points. Bonus Points are redeemable toward the purchase of any book. Most items qualify for earning bonus points, including books, merchandise, sale items, items purchased with redeemed bonus points as well as the purchase of a Savings Plus™ card.
The amount of bonus points you earn is based on your order’s product price. The more you spend, the more you earn.
You can redeem your points to get even more books at a savings of up to 80% off the publisher’s edition price.
How to Earn Bonus Points
Bonus points are earned on the order's product prices (excluding shipping and handling and taxes where applicable). Items purchased by redeeming bonus points at the bonus price ($4.99/$7.99/$9.99) qualify for earning bonus points.
Order Subtotal under $9.99 Earns 0 Points
Order Subtotal = $10-19.99 Earns 1 Point
Order Subtotal = $20-29.99 Earns 2 Points
For every additional $10 you spend, you'll earn another bonus point. For example, spend $60-69.99, and earn 6 points
How to Redeem Bonus Points for Books
To redeem your bonus points, just add the book(s) you want to your shopping cart. If you have enough points in your Account to use toward a book, there will be a button in your cart that reads "Use Bonus Points". Click that button, and checkout as usual. Your points will give you the bonus price for that item. Shipping and handling charges and taxes where applicable apply.
The Bonus Price for the book you are redeeming depends on the Club Price of the book.
Club Price = $0-19.99, can be redeemed with 8 Points, Bonus Price = $4.99
Club Price = $20-39.99, can be redeemed with 12 Points, Bonus Price = $7.99
Club Price = $40-59.99, can be redeemed with 16 Points, Bonus Price = $9.99
Points can be redeemed for books and calendars up to the maximum Club price of $59.99.
Bonus Points cannot be redeemed for non-book/merchandise items with the exception of calendars. Your current Main Selections, BookSearch Plus items and Harry Potter books cannot be redeemed with Bonus Points. Additional exceptions may apply.
Since bonus items are already discounted, they cannot be used to fulfill a regular-priced book purchase in promotions such as Buy 1 book, Get 1 Free.
If you return an item that was purchased by redeeming Bonus Points, the respective bonus points get added back to your Account.
Bonus Point purchases do not count toward your membership commitment or earn Bonus Points. The Bonus Points policy is subject to change.
