Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Last Straw, Book Three

Let’s face it: Greg Heffley will never change his wimpy ways. Somebody just needs to explain that to Greg’s father. You see, Frank Heffley actually thinks he can get his son to toughen up, and he enlists Greg in organized sports and other “manly” endeavors. Of course, Greg is able to easily sidestep his father’s efforts to change him. But when Greg’s dad threatens to send him to military academy, Greg realizes he has to shape up…or get shipped out.

Greg and his family and friends, who make Jeff Kinney’s Diary of a Wimpy Kid books a must-read for middle school readers, are back and at their best in this hilarious new installment of the series, which is sure to delight new and current fans alike. (Ages 9-12)

TThis is the third book now.........
March 30, 2010

It was hard to get my grandson to read on his own. After his father purchased him his first Whimpy Kid book, we don't have that problem anymore. It's hard to get him to put the book down to go to bed, and he even reads while riding in car rides. These books are very funny and show the funny side of problems the kid goes through. Well worth the purchase

I brought this book for my 10 year old daughter. Here's what she said; "This book is one of the funniest books ever! It's like a comedy show about a boy."

Diary of a Whimpy Kid: The Last Straw

This is the third time I have purchased this particular book. All three of my grandsons have read it and I had to purchase a copy for their Great-Grandmother. She said the book provided her with as much entertainment as any book she has read. The boys, 2 in Florida, and 1 in New York, look forward to all the new Whimpy Kid Books.
