What can you do with crocheted flowers? "Glue flowers to lampshades, refrigerator magnets, and scrapbook pages. Make pretty party invitations or unique personal stationery using your scanner and a color printer," says author of Crochet Garden Suzann Thompson. And that's just for starters. Her 50 botanically themed motifs are sure to make your imagination bloom. Use them to make lapel pins, barettes, key fobs and wreaths—or embellish anything you please. Beyond realistic-looking flowers like orchids, irises and mums (some flat, others three-dimensional), you'll find leaves, folk-art-inspired posies, and a variety of unexpected decorations like curlicue sprays, paisley, peacocks and pomegranates, plus eight fun projects.

I absolutley loved this beautifully rendered crochet book on flowers, stems and leaves. Truly an excellent find: a good reference for the crocheter's shelf but A MUST for those who crochet flowers.
