For more than thirty years, Joan Elliot has been creating a diverse range of artwork for licensing. One of the head designers for Design Works Crafts, a successful cross-stitch company based in Bohemia, New York, Elliot continues designing needlework, writing books filled with great stitching designs, creating designs for kits, and contributing to the world's major cross-stitch magazines. She lives with her husband in Brooklyn, New York.
